I wrote this song about a girl named Ciera. We unofficially dated for a couple weeks and I never forgot how much fun we had. She moved away to Washington some years back and there's no telling if she's coming back.
lyrics
Hey did you know you're the first girl that I met,
That fall semester I won't forget,
Your eyes, and your beautiful smile,
All of the freckles on your face,
I counted them and they took me away,
To a place,
That I haven't seen since,
I looked forward to our study breaks,
How much longer will this chapter take?
We had so much fun when we were together,
Now that you're gone I miss you more than ever,
You helped me use all my senses,
And easily broke through all my defenses,
To my heart,
You see,
What you mean, to me,
Is more than you know,
So I'm telling you now,
Ciera if you were here, today,
I'd give you a hug I'd kiss your face,
I looked forward to our study breaks,
How much longer will this chapter take?
We had so much fun when we were together,
Now that you're gone I miss you more than ever,
You helped me use all my senses,
And easily broke through all my defenses,
You didn't need to move so far,
You didn't know you'd break my heart,
Ohhhh,
Come home,
To me
